Theatre

Theatre at 线上博彩平台排名 is centered around creating in many forms. We are an inclusive community, committed to the cultivation of individual artists and their imaginations—and to the communal practice of collaboration and performance.

We partner with students in the development of their craft, the exploration of their passion, and the expression of their voices as storytellers.

Upper School

Drama in the Upper School is a fun and sophisticated exploration of all aspects of theatre-making. Both embedded in the curriculum and available to students as a co-curricular activity, our Upper School Theatre Program features an active schedule of annual productions and opportunities for students to train in the many disciplines of theatre arts.

Students can study theatre performance, dramatic literature, playwriting, directing, technical theatre, design, dance/movement, and film.

Middle School

The focus of the Theatre Arts Program in the Middle School is to balance introductory skill development with community and character building. The program engages Middle School students in new forms of creative expression, while developing and reinforcing positive relationships among their peer group. It’s physical. It’s communal. And it’s fun!

Lower School

There are many opportunities to participate in theatre in all of our Lower School classes, from kindergarten through fifth grade. The focus of our Lower School theatre program is on storytelling—with an emphasis on self-confidence and creativity.

Early childhood

Throughout the year, Early Childhood students have regular Movement sessions, which are tailored to the physical development of each class. Movement helps develop a positive attitude and appreciation for a lifetime of participation in regular physical activity. Our youngest learners also participate in an annual Spring Performance and children learn about instrumental melodies, song, rhythm, tempo, dance, and expression through singing, movement, and playing instruments with our Music teacher.
