“Dan represents our school each day in the classroom, tackling the academic rigor of his course work in partnership with his teachers and collaborating with classmates. He has been a committed athlete and an ardent supporter of his teammates,” said Katie. "As an athlete, Dan has been recognized by coaches of top programs across the country and recruited to join the elite Division I college sports ranks. He is an exceptional pitcher and his soon-to-be Holy Cross Head Coach Ed Kahovec shared his praise of Dan, citing his diligent work ethic, strong moral character, and commitment to excellence on the field and in the classroom."

"I chose Holy Cross for many reasons. It is in a very nice location and has amazing resources to help me continue to grow as a student and an athlete," Dan said. "The coaches and players there are very welcoming and supportive, plus I even know some current student-athletes there right now. The smaller size allows for a tighter knit community and that is something important to me.
